    Did a few searches, came up short. I was just looking for a quick answer as to when to get new injectors. I know that with a 3.4" pulley I can run stock injectors, but what size can I go down to before upgrading to 42.5# injectors? I was thinking around a 3.2" or so?

    The correct time to get new injectors is when your current injectors are no longer able to keep up the supply that your engine requires.

    Scanning and tuning will give you the actual answer. Each vehicle is slightly different.

    Long story short i had unusual driveability issues which have been resolved merely by using better injectors.

    Let us discuss fuel rail distribution over actual injectors?

    Because the factory rail spits fuel like crap, especially after 300~WHP.

    Proven on car with a certain blue car with a couple burnt pistons when it was getting enough fuel and injectors were no where near static.

    Pro tip #1: Anyone planning on higher HP builds, need billet logs or an equivalent.

    Pro tip #2: Lucas 42.5's are better than stock when they are able to even distribute fuel and not be choked out by certain areas of the rail, IE all the bends by the FPR.

    Then lets talk injectors. Start with the source of the problem and work your way down.

    Lucas injectors are an ancient design.

    Our stockers are better at "misting".

    Dekas are okay but have sweet spots.

    Zr1 injectors would be better than lucas, also have known injector cal, unlike lucas.
