Dunno if it's a common problem or somethin's up.. (total noob)

My gas gauge never likes to give me the true amount of gas I have.

Like I'd get a half a tank's worth, drive it around, park and shut off. Then it would show a lower level of gas when it shouldn't, drive it around, park and shut off.

Then it would be higher than what I previously bought.

My display would say 142 miles till I shut off and then it would be at 112 or something else. It's annoying.

"dsmuts" offers a great suggestion. There may be an issue with the fuel level sensor. Consider consulting with a certified technician for additional assistance.

Or swap out the sender for $20-$30 and a half hour of your time.

    Thanks, fellas.

Will be some time. Moving into a new place, starting school, and working full time. Time won't be for me.
