Alright, I have a 98 Gtp supercharged. I was just out messing around with it, and I was pulling on the throttle from under the hood, testing the rev and boost of it, bringing it all the way up to max. Each time I took it up to max rpm's, it made a popping sound out the tailpipes and the engine twitched each time it did, and popped. It felt/sounded almost like a premature detonation or a misfire, now it never does this but I've never brought it up to max rev because I don't race it, yeah ill punch on it here and there and test the s/c once in a while but never had problems. I only run premium 91 rated fuel in it because I know anything lower can cause premature detonation. So I'm not sure if that engine twitch and popping at max rev and boost is normal or not. I just want to be sure nothing is wrong I suppose. Any thoughts? Has anyone else ever noticed this on their supercharged cars?

I thought that's what it just might be, I guess I've just never seen or heard what a rev limiter does to an actual car. Cool, thanks
