    Does anybody know how to make a "check gas cap" light stop going on? It periodically comes up even if my gas cap is shut. I would assume that it is just a sensor but not to sure, thanks for your help in advance!

    Mine did this. A replacement cap from GM fixed it

    Yup, replace it.

    03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

    I agree with the others, the gas cap may need to be replaced. It is possible there is a leak in the seal. If that does not fix the issue, consult with a certified technician for additional information.

    same here.. replaced it and it still happens. randomly. sometimes everytime i start the car. other times randomly when im driving. not a big deal just annoying
    Green Comp G. Headers. Intake. Tune. Pulley. Intercooled.

    SE fascia. Dual chrome tips. Debadge. Retrofit. Lowered.
