Nope, no safety for low coolant. You can blow a hose and drain the entire system and the engine will continue to run until it locks up from overheating, lol... The only safety is you. Couldn't hurt to clean the MAF while you're at it.

VOILA I think I found it tucked away under some other harness so brittle it snapped when I tried to check it I'm assuming any TB movement would have probably cause cracks in it

pretty please be my malfunction :P

has an awkward fit to it like its one size and than widens up to fit around not sure regular vac line will do it may have to go grab one from the JY

if reg vac line will work for this I could probably grab some today
I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

white smoke from where? the tail pipes or under the hood?

that surging idle is more vac leaks. or the one you found but not fixed yet maybe?

Yup, time to start spraying around your vac lines to see where the leak is.

can you take a good high quality picture of your engine bay as it sits right now. so we can eyeball any problems you may have over looked.

p.s. man i told you to plug that hole where the vac tree comes out of the SC, i guess you chose to ignore my advice along with others, in your other thread...

ok thats what im hoping for after leaving it run for a while I checked to see if I had any coolant leaking I did even after replacing the gasket for my TB it still does not want to hold the coolant flowing to it gonna try to rtv seal is very good and try again in the morning if for some reason it's still leaking im going to either try to order one of those spacers or go pick a new TB from the jy. but the car fires up now no ses light idle is a lil rough from about 750-800 but not nearly as bad I also got 2 and 1/2 week old gas in there so theres probably a couple contributing factors to her not purring like she should...
I'm sorry officer I didnt know I couldn't do that

get a pressure tester for your radiator. pump it up and check for leaks. did u by chance remove the little cap on your lower intake manifold, right under your egr tube? it could leak from there.

rub rtv on the tb gasket where it touches coolant, let it seal/cure before starting car.

i used pressure tester on radiator to find my coolant leaks before my engine tear down. you can rent them at you local parts store

That's not an issue. The gas in my car is 5 months old and she purrrrrs like a kitten.

oh nah I just didnt get a chance to check back in on it been monitoring this and just constantly jumping in chat to ask troubleshooting questions. sorry about that I hate to have advice fall on deaf ears so im sympathetic to your plight.

    Good news
after wrapping up the vacuum line that ran to the TB, redoing my TB gasket....with more rtv than I would have wanted to use and burning off a good ounce of coolant or so shes purring like a kitten just gotta get headlights thrown back in.I had her idling for about 15-20 min for the relearn process and all sounded well checked all my gauges and alarms via torque pro for temp and KR and all seemed good. so Im gonna redo the harnesses off the HIDs I got that didnt work and take a little cruise till im empty and go fill up and add the fuel system cleaner I got and hopefully shes ready for the headers :P

thanx to everyone for all the help especially scotty

you guys are da **** n i owe ya one
