my oil pan gasket is leaking quite badly. i checked to make sure it wasn't the valve cover gaskets before i decided on oil pan gasket. it looks pretty simple to replace but ive been told that they are a pain in the but and cant seem to find any write ups on here. any one got any tips or tricks to replacing a oil pan gasket

If you have an aluminum pan and not the metal one that's painted black then you dont have a gasket, use rtv to seal it like the factory.
