Last week my fuel pump went out. Got fuel pump in today, installed, car started right up... for about 10 minutes. Car sputtered and died. Figured I'd run to town and get a fuel filter, which was on today's things to do anyways. Replaced the fuel filter. Old one was clogged and figured it was the suspect. Went to start the car, and it ran like CRAP. Was definitely misfiring. The engine was shaking badly and the exhaust had a loud THUD THUD THUD sound to it. But no codes got thrown. Sprayed just a quick spurt of starting fluid into the intake to see if idle picked up, but it just bogged down and I heard a loud pop coming from the front driver's side of the engine. Don't know if it came from the exhaust or what. But still no code. I pulled the front plugs and tested for spark, and they are definitely sparking. I also noticed that with the plug removed and me cranking the engine, no fuel came out of the spark plug hole. Should fuel have come out? Anyways, when the car was running crappy, I played with the shrader valve on the fuel regulator and a decent amount of fuel came out. After the pop, no fuel is coming out of the shrader valve. I then took the fuel regulator completely out, put a rag in the hole, and fuel is definitely getting to at least the regulator. I have to buy a new regulator now anyways because I broke it myself, but what else is going on here? No codes are being thrown, and now the car just cranks but wont start.
