    got a few ?s bout 1997 gtp for who ever will listen to me lol i just got one ok here we go

    #1 is the powerstering suppose to whine at slow almost stopping speeds when sharp turing
    #2 do gtp's have kinda crappy top end and really good take off
    #3 why when i really step on the throttel when it hits a higher rpm the low cooliant light comes on

    #1 no you should not hear a whine from the power steering
    #2 mines not stock, but the top end is pretty good
    #3 you need to bleed the cooling system more than likely

    I just had my PS pump replaced under warranty and mine still whines lol

    1. No, your PS pump should not whine at all. I would suspect that your PS pump is on the way out. Consider a replacement.

    2. The top end isn't too bad in our cars, for a stock car. Might want to do a tune up.

    3. Check the coolant level in the radiator as mentioned above.

    #2 - Its a six banger man! If you want true top end power you need 1. Lots of mods to your S/C six or 2. Get a V8.

    Off the line its nice, but stock the top end isnt to much to brag about. Im talkin 70mph+.
