I just got my ssac headers yesterday and I'm just wondering if theres anything that needs to be done before I put them on. I think I remember someone saying to take the flex piper off and put a new one on because I guess they leak? any info would help, thanks.

Change out the clamps, replace the flex or it'll tick and read the thread by me on how to install headers the easy way.

Fel pro exhaust gaskets are thick and most of whatever they are made of sticks to the parts. I personally don't care for them. I like to wipe off and reuse the stock MLS gaskets

searching "ssac" wont find you anything.

You gotta type more words or even partial questions.

Like "crank sensor replace", "header info and install" , "CV axles replacement" etc etc

they are sucky flex pipes, what's so hard to grasp?

replace it with a nice triple walled one that you have to order from a legit source. you can't get a nice one OEM or at a parts store.

You need the band clamps with 2 bolts on them, 2 2.25" ones and at least 1 or 2 3" ones.

horse shoe clamps like to crush the metal.

Band clamps will grab the whole pipe and just squeeze it together, works alot better.

I believe he means straight pipe in place of the resonator.
