And yes, the California Duster is a great tool for keeping the dust off between washes. I've had mine since 1990 and it is still going strong.
I actually like Armor All, i just dont like the smell of it but i think its great...
I just bought both the mini and the larger 1, first experience was great. Wish i knew about these sooner. Everytime i get on this damn forum, i learn so much and sometimes spend too much money lol...
Zymol is my favorite, but lately I just use the wand wash wax for convenience. It actually sheds water very well.
Does Meguiar's Repel dirt well?
Yes and no... Wax is a dust magnet and it doesn't matter what product you use. You go on a dusty road or have a windy day, you'll be cleaning up the paint lol. I used Meguiar's for a couple of years before I moved to a mix between Wolfgang and Adam's, it's worth it to someone who isn't as OCD as me with my cars xD
Unless your car is any color other than black, don't waste your money on a California Duster.
I bought one for my GTP and it took one car show to reverse the correction I had done. It marrs black paint pretty significantly, even if you're "feathering" your paint. It's tough on the paint period. Lighter colors can get away with its use though.
I use a thick, thick microfiber on my GTP at shows if it attracts any dust.
My duster did that until it gets used. It tells you it may leave waxy streaks when new. But after the first couple times it doesnt leave any marks what so ever on the car.
