It has been about 2 years since my ABS and Traction control light first came on. In that time, I have had all my wheel bearings and my ABS pump replaced. Some wheel bearings have been replaced multiple times, and the ABS pump did not fix the problem either time, I just got tired of bringing it back to the dealership and shelling out money.
So, as a pizza delivery driver, i drive in all conditions with lots of stop and go, so braking is very important, as is the traction.

My ABS light actually burned out recently, but the trac off light is still displayed.

Anyway, my official question is - Now what? Should i keep replacing the ABS pump? I had a guy tell me it might be the ECM, any thoughts there? I have seen a lot of threads similar to this one, but never really see any solid answers.

And as a follow-up, any suggestion you may give or offer, can you let me know if it is a diy project for a "slightly more than a beginner" or if it is a bring it to the shop job?

    Thanks so much

    matt out

I'd check over wires to. Like from the WB to the main harness, its pretty easy for the old wires to become brittle and break or fray
