Car has just started doing this recently. I've had an SES code for and EGR issue but that has been on for a few weeks and the car wasn't doing this when it first came on. I havent gotten it scanned again to see if there's any new codes but I figured I'd post here and see if anyone else had this issue. Basically what it's doing is on some startups it will struggle to find an idle, it will rev up and almost stall and finally it will settle down and idle. Took a quick video of it doing it let me know what everyone thinks.

Fix known issue and then go from there. Other that that it could be a bad IAC, dirty TB, dirty MAF, or vacuum leak.

Open the hood and have someone turn the key to the on position while you stand up front and listen for some noises coming from the TB area. If you hear a clicking sound then it's most likely the IAC. No clicking sound - small vacuum leak and IAC is making up for it.

Small vacuum leak may be cracked EGR tube.

Mine was doing that, turned out to be the EVAP solenoid. But, it only did it after putting gas in it (opening the gas cap). Check the seal on your cap, and see if you can borrow somebody's solenoid to test the theory.

Mine does the same thing every now and then but not as extreme. I just turn the car off and restart it and its fine. I have an egr code and a low catalyst efficiency code so im just assuming its a bad egr
