I bought a new passenger side axle but it doesn't have a cup like the original, is this possible with an aftermarket axle?

The two ends of the passenger axle... One is splined the other has splines and threads.
abs is all in the hub assembly.
Correct, and I'm thinking you are a Ford guy talking about the ring on the axle.
Our speed sensors are within the wheel hub. Which makes them cost triple what they should.
Yep, that's the passenger side. It has external splines that slide into the differential. This where the differene is between a L67 and L36 axle.
Driver's side has internal splines that slide over the output shaft.
What do you mean by "cup"? If the one you removed had a "cup" then, well, IDK! The internal spline on the driver's side axle kind of looks like a cup.
