Just noticed your avatar is an 04+ if thats what you have then a 3.4 is probably to small of a pulley to run with just headers but the only way to know is to scan. Never run colder than a 180 thermo unless you do serious racing and see tuned for it.

As others have said those Plugs are way too cold for your setup and get rid of that 160* thermo, it's doing your more harm than anything. Plus when you engine runs colder you burn more gas.
no i didnt remove them may have bumped them a time or two. gonna buy plugs and wires after work and see if that helps if not next step coils. also my areoforce is reading 24.5 on the pw bank at wot is this lean or rich? it looks rich at the exhaust but im not sure.
yea ive noticed the fuel mileage has decreased a good bit. but as for kr goes before headers at wot it was reading 4.0 to 7.0 i just kept out of the throttle until i got the headers and it went to .2 to 2.9. thats alot better i must say. you would think the pcm could adjust for this or i may not know what im talking about. still new to this platform.
ok guys changed the plugs and wires. swapped the coils around and still no change. all cylinders are missing
Actually there is a change. It's now missing on all cylinders. You're going backwards.
icm could be bad. What codes were you getting again? I know the p0300 is the multiple misfire.
and p0135 which is an oxygen sensor but it wouldn cause this would it?
I wouldn't think an o2 sensor would cause a bad misfire but stranger things have happened. My friends 01 grand am is getting the p0135 code and she complains of her car acting up every now and again but hasn't got it over here for me to look at yet.
put the plug wires on wrong?
front 135
back 246
no i double checked. im waiting for the icm to come in and see if that fixes it.
I remember from a recent thread that most of the auto parts stores like Advance and Autozone have an ICM tester. You might want to pull yours off and take it in for testing.
oh ok didnt know they had anything to check it,thanks
just becuase it tests good, doesnt mean its still not bad.
well i took it off and had it checked. he said it was fine. so what your saying is i have to buy a new one to find out for sure?
There seems to some variability in the ICM testing that is performed in this way. The techs that know what they're doing will test the unit three or four times, all the while bumping it during the test with a screw driver of something. This, of course, mimicks the unit being on the car and operating under somewhat normal conditions.
So yea, if it was tested incorrectly the ICM may still be bad.
ok now where do i go. i bought a new icm and nothing has changed still missing bad
What brand plug wires did you put on? Sorry if I missed this in a previous post.
