Hi Guys, I received my aeroforce scangauge and I went for a little drive... I gunned it and saw up 6 KR at arround 5000 RPM... I did TWO runs 0-150 KM/H, I popped the hood and my manifold was glowing red...

I have a ZZP 3'' DP with a Highflow CAT,Air intake, Autolite 606's, 180 tstat, Borla 2.5'' catback, Stock pulley. and im running 91 octane gaz..

    Im looking into headers now,

    What could be the problem?

How many miles on the cat? I doubt that it's toast. Doubt it would take much to cherry stock manifolds. I might try AL605's and scan again.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Is your car a GTP or a GT top swap? Sorry if this is a stupid question..your user name suggest that it is a GT.

Glowing manifolds are from heat. It can be from a lean condition or back pressure, most commonly.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    It's an L67.

I dont think my cat is clogged because when i swapped my exhaust line i started the car Open DP and i had good pressure coming out...

So all stock GTP will glow red?

and what could cause a lean condition or back pressure? (im french so i migh not express myself properly lol...)

Lean condition means there is too much air for proper combustion. So... bad or dirty MAF, vacuum leak, tiny pulley, etc.
Back pressure is caused by exhaust restrictions, of which you really have none.

Glowing manifolds result from running 10 degrees of timing as well... so if you are still laying into things at 10 degrees it will get pretty warm.

Engine load goes up because TC is locked. Either need to tune the trans for a downshift, tune for less timing vs MAP, or run higher octane fuel.

Balancer could be toast as well.

Ala, glowing exhaust from skewed timing via the balancer being off.
