    so ive been looking around the net and on youtube and such and i see alot of claims of 40-50+ wheel horse power just by switching to e85. how many e85 people on here have had the same type of gains?

    based on octane rating alone, gains are huge. now adding in the other benefits of ethanol, more huge.

    it is a great gas.

    how hard is it to switch over? cuz i was actually considering it since its suppose to be cheaper to buy right? i dont know much about it at all but would greatly consider it since gas is $4.60 by where i'm at.

    Less fuel economy thus similar fuel costs.

    13.2 @ 104 93 octane

    12.7@ 110 e85

    screw gasoline. I'd never go back

    The downfall is that it restricts you to areas with E85 or constant worry of running out of it. Unless you have a tuner and can switch tunes after you run out of gas. That's about the only downfall worth worrying about.

    So u get a hp gain JUST by switching to e85??? Or is e85 just like a supporting mod or something.

    Bigger injectors are needed and possibly a bigger fuel pump.
