First of all I have an almost stock 2001 Gtp with 97k.
So I just replaced my spark plugs (autolite 606's gapped to .56 per Nixon's advice) and wires (just basic parts store $35 WIRES).
What a pain in the a$$, I guess hands are too big for this engine bay. next time im going to pull the engine forward. lol

After everything was put back together It took 3 quick attempts to start. I put the scangauge on misfires and it read about 4 misfires in the first 30 secs. I shut the engine off popped the hood and checked all connections for a tight fit and everything felt good. It started first try after that but ran as high as 8 misfires. Turned off engine, turned back on and went on a test drive. No misfires.

    Am I all good?

    Btw
-I did not reinstall metal sleeves.
-I hand tightened plugs and then gave about 1/4 turn with wrench

Well what cylinders were the misfires on?

And if they arent doing it anymore, then I dont know what to tell you. Because then its running good in my book.

Is there a way to tell without a check engine light? Is the scan gauge capable of that?
Has anyone had issues for the first few mins after changing plugs/wires and it goes away?
    wtf

Just restarted the car. 22 misfires in less than 30 secs but the car seems to be running fine, No check engine lights.

just dug a little deeper into the scan gauge. Misfires are cyl 3 and mostly 4.
