anyway to port your own exhaust manifolds ? and if so how hard is it ?

yes you can! all you need is a dremel and a lot of the proper bits. I used a lot of sanding discs.....and wear a mask...the dust flies everywhere.
the front is a MUST! the rear there really isnt that much restriction.
^^^ I agree, it will get messy, plus you dont want to breath in all that crap. I did this to my gtp, and it worked well .till I got a crack in the manifold/crossover flange, so went with a Powerlog. Dont worry about the flange messing up, mine was a freak crack,(dont know how it happened...crappy metal)?
ask and you shall receive
Ported Exhaust Manifolds - PEM's
As mentioned the rear is good enough. The front gain is likely minimal. Reason being, you can't get vary far beyond the openings. Imagine the tight rough regions beyond where you can see or gain access to.
gonna port match or gasket match em?
Ive done both, dremel is a must, so is a good painters mask. I have a P&P kit that has all the stones and abrasives you need, its over 20 years old but I havnt used em all up yet.
If you port the manifolds you might as well port the heads too, its not hard jsut very time consuming and you gotta be patient and have very good concentration.
Oh nevermind!
BTW this is nice

Ah, okay. I'd heard about ZZP paint flaking, but I didn't know they painted the Plogs. I thought it was ceramic or bare.
