First question, I let my brother borrow my car and he filled the tank with unleaded (87). I'm gtp stock and not worried about it. But what will happen?

Second question. I saw this thread somewhere and I don't remember where but it was how to port the tb. I searched in the how to and didn't see it. If anyone knows where I can find it that would be awesome. Almost think reptile did it. It had awesome pictures and ev erything.

Third question. What r the best kind of head lights for the grand prixs? I have stock and the brights suck. I'm kind of tired of paying 10 bucks a bulb when I don't even using the brights so I was wondering how good projectors are or if hids are better.

    Thanks guys

    1. dont drive it hard, slap your brother, refil with 91.
    2. dont port, not worth it, barely any gains. get headers.
    3. best thing to do is to retrofit projectors. theres been a couple of threads about it.

    1) Nothing as long as you don't beat on it. Empty half way, fill with the highest octane possible 91 or 93 prefered, then empty that tank and fill completely with 91 or higher.

    2) http://www.grandprixforums.net/how-p...ody-36376.html

    3) Silverstar Ultras for factory style bulbs or HIDs

Ok I figured it would be ok as long as I didn't drive it hard and I actually thought about filling it after it was half empty. And thanks guys. Ill look for the headlight thread

    1. download tolulene calculator. Drive to Sherwin Williams with brother.. make him pay and then up your octane.
    2. If you port a TB, you must tune the pcm for it. Or your maf readings will be off.
3... what's number 3? Oh..buy a Regal. They have better headlights and headlight brackets.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

In my opinion this is not the best option, toulene can/will damage a fuel pump impeller and on some cars damage the throttle body.

Staying out of the throttle for a week or two seems safer than putting strange chemicals into your tank.

Not to mention what youlene could do to your paint if you spilled.

To answer question #3, get a set of HID's. I got mine from VVME for around 60 bucks. 5000k 35w are insanely bright with just the stock housing. I also added HID's for my fogs. With both on, its crazy bright. I often get people flashing me because they think I have my brights on. I promptly give them the finger. Worth every dollar IMO.

Lmao! That's hilarious. Well if I have to get a tune just for a ported tb I'm gonna wait till I do a pulley drop and stuff further down the road. As far as headlights go I suppose I could get hids one day. Its just so annoying spending 10 bucks for a bulb when the high beams suck

How would it damage the tb since the gasoline gets no where close to it?

Isn't toluene a fairly large component of gasoline? Maybe the toluene molecules from Sherwin Williams are so powerful they overpower the air molecules rushing into the throttle body, move against the flow, and damage the throttle body at a subatomic level, so it weakens and looks like swiss cheese under a scanning electron microscope.

^^This was just meant to be a funny, and not piss anyone off :P
