Ok , so about three weeks ago I bought a used 06 gp tranny from the wrecking yardand after putting it in I had the wrong gear ratio so I changed in with my old one from my 04 ( BIG DIFFERENCE ) car ran fine for a couple of weeks , now since last friday I noticed a noise coming from the tranny , kind of sounds like an empty power steering pump but only when I would start it in the morning until saturday , now I hear it well driving , until today...I was driving and the car acted like I slammed it in to low and then back to normal until 20 minutes later , I took a turn to avoid traffic and.........NOTHING !!!! Now it won't go in to any gear. My guess is thepump went out , anyone got any ideas???

Most likely the pump. Try pulling it down to 1 or 2, if you have nothing, it's probably pump. The pump will whine when it has trouble pulling fluid etc.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

It does sound like the pump but have you checked your fluid?

Hey do you guys think theirs a chance that changing the differential could have made this happen ?? Or just time and wear and tear ??? if it is the pump.

Have you checked the fluid level? Does the fluid look good and red? I could see an extremely clogged filter causing this as well (fluid starvation).

NO !!! When I got the tranny it only had fluid in the torque converter so I put a new and fluid in , it's full but don't go in any gear.
