I'm having trouble with the blower circuit. I had one source tell me it could be the body control module, however, I found information indicating it controls door locks and keyless entry. Does it have anything to do with the blower control? If so, does it have to be programmed after replacememt?

It will only work on fan speed 5. I have replaced the resistor and dash control unit. Tested the blower motor and checked all fuses and relays. There is some conection with the headlights, I can't figure out

I would check the fused power feed to the resistor. The ignition switch feeds most of the power in our cars and is prone to going bad. If you have no power going in and the fuse is good, I'd trace that back to the ignition switch and it's feed to check that it's giving power.

^^^ Yup, if you have already replaced the resisitor and that didn't fix it, its your ignition switch.

There is a write up somewhere to bypass the power going through the ignition switch and keep the switch from being a problem.

Same problem on my '02 blower. Now doesn't even work on "5". Have replaced the resister 3 times. Solves problem only intermitently. How hard is to replace ignition switch?

The fan only works on speed 5. I have replaced the resistor & harness, the dash control unit, tested all fuses, relays and the motor. There is some conection to the head lights. If I start the car with the blower off and then turn the blower on, it might not come on. But, I have noticed that if I turn the head lights on the blower will come on.
