    my caliper slide bots are drying out and causing my brakes to hang up, only on the drivers side front though. ive greased them twice now evertime i pull them out they look like theyve never been greased im at a loss here what could be causing this?

    i would also think the boots are ripped or not sitting there right. air must be getting to them somehow and drying them out.

    x2^^ if they were still lubed up whenever you take them apart then i would say its a hose issue, but no go to the auto parts store and get new pins and boots. they have to be stretched or worn to where its gonna be hard to see them

    What kind of grease are you using? If it's a light grease it could be cooking out of the slide.
    98 GTP modded 1.9's, sd headers, 3.4", zzp 1.0 230K miles scrapped.

    im just using any old silde grease i can find after the second time though i bought GM Car Care slide grease air might be getting in there some how
