Alright so i have 1997 Grand prix GTP, im planning on building my own intake today since its nice out and i dont want to spend $200+ on one from ZZP or something. Ive looked at alot of threads so i get the idea of how to build one. 4in 45* PVc piping, 9in Spectre air filter, rubber coupler, and some metal zipties/clamps. But first before i get started. How do you actually remove the airbox? i dont know how to do that?

And what is this on my intake tubing? do i need this still or no? i know i need the IAT sensor but what is this large thing on the tubing?

and lastly, im just planning on Zip tying my PCM down? is that fine or should i do something else?

Awesome dood I live in GR and have a 97 GTP also.. Very easy to remove.. Just a few bolts and your done.... You don't need that "filter" thing on the tubeing... Zip tying it down works well.. Thats what I did...
