dont the comp g's have 3.29 gears and get lower gas mileage? not sure if your a comp g.

it could need a tune up, and we are on the winter mix gas wise...have you been starting the car and letting it warm up for ~10mins? get the engine light checked for free at an autoparts store. you might need a new front o2.

dont just go by what the guy you bought it from said, he was selling you the car. you should investigate for yourself so you know whats from and make it worse.

99% chance this is a header leak issue.

I was getting around 25 MPG with the GTP using a 3.25 pulley and I had stock injectors. Like a lot have said, think you need a tune.

Your tires would have to be flat to make you get 5 mpg worse gas mileage.

I've been getting about that much in my 2001 SE. I check for codes every month, and I haven't had any for three months. No notable power mods. It has probably been doing this for a while; this is just the first time I've taken note of the mileage and gas levels at the same time. 135 miles on 10 gallons.

I got the same MPG right now, mainly because my damn transmission is ****ed up and it goes past the 2.5KRPM to keep up at 35 MPH which means more gas burned.

Should be on the rear exhaust manifold. But you should have headers and then it'll be in the downpipe.
