I cant find any leaks, yet after driving for 50 miles the low coolant light comes on. I stop and half to add Anti-Freez. I am stumped. The oil is fine, and there is no oil in my radiator. Any ideas?

check the lower intake bolts for pooling in the wells that they live in. your going to need a flash light in broad day light while looking at them.

also check the coolant elbows coming out of the tensioner, those get small cracks and you might not see it right away. but i bet your lim gaskets need to be replaced, especially if it hasnt been done yet.

OP- We need to know the year/model/mileage of this vehicle in order to try and accurately help you. And any past maint. history would be beneficial as well. Are the coolant elbows leaking? LIM gaskets been changed? UIM been changed if N/A? The list goes on and on. Carnac we are not.

    tuchek,

I'm sorry to hear of your frustration with your vehicle. I would encourage you to take the vehicle in for an inspection. A certified technician should be able to offer you a more accurate diagnosis after a physical inspection.

If you have additional questions, please feel free to contact me.
