a few... but all in all your mpg is in the power of your right foot...

you can mess with the tune a little but that only goes so far...

Keep it fully well-maintained with original equipment. Get your lower intake manifold gasket changed to aluminum version. Hot Air intake (9" dry flow filter), headers, larger supercharger pulley, custom tune, lighter wheels, lighter tires, remove spare tire, jack, and all excess items. Keep windows closed. Drive like your Metamucil hasn't kicked in yet.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

The best way to get the most out of your car in the way of fuel economy is to make sure that everything that is intake, ignition, and exhaust as free flowing or tip top shape as possible.

IIRC the 01+ cars use the rear o2 for fueling, some of your problem could be from that.

also having a tune can help use them mods correctly
