Ok i think this is the final straw. Ive just spent so much money supposedly trying to make this car run better only to run into problem after problem. The Upper and Lower Intakes were recently replaced. The car had not been running for like two weeks, until I had the fuel pump replaced with a new one. Now the car is running and im driving it. Nothing seems any different in the way it runs. However i just took it to BIG ALS to have the oil changed (mind you this is about three days after all the intake work), the guy at the shop informs me i have water in the heads and shows me my oil filter which pours out a milk chocolate colored oil. He basically says its gonna cost me $1100 maybe more and that the intake gaskets will basically have to be redone. This after ive just spent $1000 on all the previous repairs. Is there any possibility that the intake gasket replacement caused the milky oil and that changing the oil cleared that out. If it is as they said then i need to start searching for another car.

Accept the fact that when the LIM was done, water got in. When water gets into our engines, it'll sit in them. Whether you change the oil or not. At that point you should do an oil change or two until the milkiness is gone. Go tell Al to give you another oil change and you should be fine.

Been there, dealt with this... no worries bud.

That does make me feel better. The oil change was supposed to be the last thing we did. The car just came back online last night. I drove it to work today and right after work took it for the oil change. Let me also add there was probably a three day period when the car sat with the upper and lower gaskets were off and it sat in my parking lot. During those three or so days we had a heavy rain shower and the tempeture went from 30degrees one day and 60degrees the next day. So good chance for condensation.

Give the car a break. Change the oil a couple times...and if you don't get any more milk after that..you should be good to go.

At least I can lie like them to calm you down.

I've done it.. you pull a LIM and half a gallon goes in. It's very uncommon..but it has happened once or twice. You try to drain it..but there's that fuggin 3/8" of fluid below the oil drain plug. That's why I say two changes. Right..water being heavier it'll sit below that plug and you'll have to mix more to get it out.

Me.. I recently filled my oil pan with coolant when doing a rear engine gasket. Loved the aluminum oil pan with the plug at the lowest point. I really really like that pan.

Its been two days. The car has not crapped out on me or the dreaded engine lock that i was told i would be getting because my HEAD/HEAD GASKET was supposedly bad. The only problem im really having now is this annoying rattle, more pronounced when the car is in drive and foot on brake (any other gear or giving car gas rattle disappears). Oh yeah and the heavy vibrating thats so strong it rattles my driverside door (probably the engine mounts).

Sounds like motor mounts. Crawl under there and look at the driver trans mount and pass motor mount. Also check out the dogbone mounts while you are at it.

Ok dsnuts. So if i am to understand there is 1 motor mount and 1 transmission mounts on the bottom? Then the 2 dogbone mounts i can clearly see. Also ive been reading up here about those dogbones and im a bit confused on one thing. Im all set to get the polymounts because some say it helps with the vibration, however some say it causes more vibration. Keep in mind too,the vibrations only occur when the car is in drive position and only basically when stopped. In reverse, even neutral,or driving no vibration.
