    i recently jus got the pc upgrade then my converter went bad i replaced that and the whole exhaust with high performance exhaust and when i let off the gas it backfires there is no exhaust leak the guy who programmed my pc said it was for a 3.4 pulley and cat back exhaust and cold air intake i only hav dne the exhaust, not the pulley or the cold air intake, does anybody know if this is normal or know whats wrong with it do i need to get the pulley and intake to make it stop backfiring ??? can anybody help ?

    Raw fuel in the hot exhaust will backfire. The car may be running too rich.

    how do i fix that is it cause of the pc upgrade and there is no check engine light on

    Really hard to tell you what to do when we don't know what exactly was done to the PCM. But, it sounds like it wasn't tuned well.

    backfire is usually timing is off, or too much fuel, either way not a good thing, put the stock pcm in or get a tuner and do it right
