My car is throwing 2 codes. 2000 gtp. P0300 random misfire and P0206 injector control circuit. It is a constant misfire, it doesnt go away and doesnt get any better, even at idle its misfiring. Im afriad im going to hurt the engine but it is my only car and I have to get to work. I have an appointment for it to go in the shop this week but what could the issue be? Id like to fx it on my own so I can obviously save the hassle and money. I briefly looked at the injector today and the wiring looks to be in good condition, no breaks, no bends or any damage. Could anyone help me? Thanks a lot

spark plugs? coils? how many miles are on your car? sounds like it has something to do with the injector if your getting codes for a misfire and injector.

123,000 miles. I just replaced my plugs, wires and coils because I thought that was the problem. I have OEM coils, ZZP wires and NGK TR6 plugs

with the engine running - use a pair of insulated pliers & pull one lead at a time from the coils, until you find one that doesnt change the engine missfire - this will be the cylinder that is not firing.
swap the injector from that cylinder for another cylinder and see if the missfire follows the injector, or if it stays on the same cylinder.

If it follows the injector, the injector is bad, if it doesnt follow the injector, then you have a wiring issue, or something else entirely.
A missfire can be caused by a whole lot of things other than a bad injector.
Here are a few - Spark plug, plug wire, coil pack, low cylinder compression.

The injector control circuit fault can be triggered by a bad injector. if the ECU tries to fire that injector and gets no response it will fire the P0206 code.

It's early morning and my filters aren't in place so bear with me.

Your misfire is 99% caused by the injector issue. Check that wiring and stuff like suggested. Otherwise, try moving the injector and if the issue moves, then you know it's the injector. My local JY charges $5 each.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
