I just installed a Borla catback on my 05 GTP. I am getting pretty annoying resonating at about 1600-1700 rpm. The exhaust was used and came off an 04 GTP but is in great shape (0nly on for a few thousand miles). It is actually the catback for an 03 as Borla does not list a number for 04+. It does fit but uses it has an exta hanger bracket that is not on the 05. Anybody else have a resonance problem with a Borla exhaust? Any advice on a fix would be helpful. Thanks.

I am running an Random Technologies downpipe with a high flow cat. What I have is the Borla catback system #14803 so the stock resonator came off with the stock exhaust. I do not know what borla muffler is used in the catback.

Mine was bad and i thought it was the Borlas but when I put the sub in my spare tire well I took out all the crap in it and dynomated it and it's now gone. The metal under the spare tire is so thin it acts like a drum. Now I just get an annoying drone at 2k rpms lol.
