Why are the reusable rocker arm bolts smaller then the stock TTY bolts? 5/16" vs 3/8"
I have a 1/2" torque wrench so I got a adapter to go from 1/2" to 3/8" socket size, bought a SAE 7pc 3/8" socket set that has 3/8" as the smallest socket, then after discovered the comp cams are too small for that new socket set I just bought![]()
I think I used a 10mm socket on the stock TTY 3/8" bolts to get them off, it worked so what if I just use a 9mm socket for these comp cams?
I end up using two socket adapters to make use of the 1/2" torque wrench to get them torqued right. Hopefully that 3/8" to 1/4" adapter does not snap on me when I torque to 25 ft LBs
