I am currently reassembling after replacing the LIM gaskets. The only thing that I can't get are the damn injectors to seat. I have new o-rings (destroyed the old ones taking them off) and they just won't seat. I've coated the rings with oil, smeared oil in the holes, tapped firmly on the fuel rail with a rubber mallet, and tried tightening down the nuts holding the rail down, and none of this has had any effect (other than bending a metal tab on the rail with the mallet).

I could really use some tips on getting them back in there. To be stopped by something so simple is really pissing me off.

    Help!

put the injectors into the rail.

then put the rail on car, then bolt down.

They didn't pop in when I did that. Will they finish seating on their own when the engine heats up? Since they didn't go all the way in I just assumed they weren't as they should be.

    Thanks Matt!

You need to push them into the rail so that the clips can be applied, then you have to carefully seat the rail on the heads. Adjust them slowly, and they should go down. If you get some bolts started, you can usually wiggle the rail to get the injectors to seat the rest of the way. Then you should be able to tighen the rest of the bolts down. Don't forget to check for leaks when you're done.

Once I finish cooling off here, I'll go try it again. Thanks for the tips.
