So my cluster had this problem were the fuel/rpm side illumination would turn on and off sometimes. Mostly always off. I decided to fix this the past weekend. After having the cluster off I saw the bulbs were actually good, but pressing or flattening a part of the back green board near the top of the gear indicator board would cause it to work. Taped it down and noticed that the gauges now don't work. They dont even move.

Nothing works besides the turn signals, hazards, and hi's. Nothing else flashes on start up. My Hud also has stopped working. One thing I figured out was maybe I blew a fuse since I did this with the car on to make sure the bulbs lit up. So I went fuse checking the ones I would think would cause this. Nothing bad was found.

I then went to a local junkyard, grabbed another cluster and same thing. Its even the same cluster part number and back board.

What can it be? Also are all 98-03 clusters interchangeable? The other clusters I saw had a diff part number and had a yellow backboard.

    Any help would be great.

Check all the fuses, not just the ones you think would cause it. Even the ones under the hood.

03 GTP...Its got pulleys and stuff.

Checked the fuses I would think would be linked. Nothing.

Really stumped here. Gonna multimeter the connector to see if its getting any info then rule it out as the cluster.
