    No No... the cars aren't lame... but some parts sure are! I just can't imagine why GM wouldn't have known that this water leak issue was so prevelant in the older models that they couldn't have prevented it from happening on yet another body style...

    I open it up to see this wonderful image... just sitting there on top of the cabin filter.. (Which I had actually removed before taking this photo... you can see how nasty it looks below..)


    Not so hard to get to though...


    And then just look at how disgusting this thing was...



    I just bought a new cabin filter for 15 bucks...

    Then I had to suck and suck and suck the water out of the carpet
    (I swear there was a monsoon here today!)...

    and then destink and use some lysol in hopes of preventing any mold inside the car.

    Anyone think running a bead of foam along the edge would work as fine as having the stupid removable seal?
