they were gapped HUGE! I previously gapped all my plugs .055 2 weeks ago then had a misfire the other night "talked about in a previous forum" checked them out and all front plugs were gapped way over .055 these are autolite plugs $1.99... Is this known to happen? Foul plugs? Never knew it could do that after 2 weeks! Lol

New plugs...and you gapped them when you put them in correctly...you just didn't look and toss them in?

not to say we told you so, but you did buy a modded car that you dont know jack about.

I bet its hurting more than you know.

Like your tap shift stuff, I bet that was screwd up with the so called tune it has or with some shotty wiring or whatever.

And now with these plugs, it "could" be bad plugs, but the likelyhood of you getting 3 bad front plugs is far fetched.

Its gotta be more than just a plug issue your dealing with.

3.4 pulley on GenV and only headers is AL103 territory.

    Remove 3.4"

    Replace w/ 3.8"

    Put in new plugs.

    OR.

Buy short block and get a proper tune with a 3.6".

You need a stock pulley? I probably have several laying around. You'll just have to have the 3.4 taken off and the 3.8 pressed on. That way you can just get some AL 606's or stock ac's

You want the hottest spark you can get away with...not the coldest...colder plugs might be better for "combating knock" but then you run into the issues of constant fouling/premature plug life, hard starts, misfires at idle or high RPM's, busted knuckles...blood loss, etc.

I understand the hottest plug ideal. Sometimes it just dont work that way though.
