when I first start my car the voltage is usually between 14.4-14.6 volts but when I start driving it quickly drops to 12.7-12.8 and sits there. I've been told that this is a gas saving mechanism but seeing as I will be running roughly 3000 rms worth of system I need my voltage to float between 14.3-14.6 while I'm driving. is there a way to bypass this?

    What do you drive?

Voltage goes up to charge the battery. When the 12 volt system is running all you really need is 12 volts. We have grown accustomed to a little more, but 12 is expected.

To upgrade it..you want to do the voltage mod or get a voltage booster.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

zzp doesn't offer a voltage booster for 05+ and when I'm running over 3000 watts worth of system a high voltage is necessary
