    Are these held down with two face tape? Mine are beginning to lift on the front edges, near the windshield.

    i just put on new stock rails on. its very hard to re stick the old ones. it can be done, just remember there is a metal chanell running thru it

    Regular, as in the ones that were on the cars before the type that stick up above the roof skin - sorry, can't remember what they're called or what models they're on.

    Yes, but I didn't want to say stock since they were stock on the anniversary cars, as well. I guess I didn't know there were more than two types to where all the confusion would be created.

    So, basically, just heat them to soften the glue and peel upward and they're off? I can retape if that is all that is required, after peeling off the old tape.
