Okay I have a 2000 Grand prix gt 3800 series II. Runs great but when you drive and press the pedal too far down it wont go. you cannot gun it. You have to baby it up to speed which really makes people behind me pissed. Ran 3 codes. PO131 PO134 and then multiple missfire. The Codes are with o2 sensors. 1 was already replaced. Please help me out guys it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

does the SES flash at all?

And I kinda wanna take a guess at saying maybe your cat is clogged with how bogged down it get beyond 1/2 throttle.

I dont think it does what does the ses stand for? (new pontiac owner) and you would think o2 sensors with the o2 sensor codes

service engine soon, check engine light

Well what do the o2 sensors do?

They monitor your emssions and air and fueling. So in turn they monitor the effectivness of your cat converter.

Go grab a pressure gauge and take the upper o2 sensor out and screw the pressure gauge in its place and start the car, if the pressure gauge read more than 1-2 psi your cat is clogged.

You may have too much back pressure, making the engine work harder.
Dont drive it if the ses light is flashing... its damaging your 02 and cat.

and what exactly happens when you "gun it". does it bog down or does the motor stumble (like a real bad misfire). do plugs and wire.

here is what needs to be checked
    -fuel delivery
    -air delivery
    -flow (as in exhaust)
-sufficiant spark to ignite the fuel
now when you figure that out^^^good luck finding what is causing that problem
ex. there are many sensors that can effect air/fuel problems.
