So I was playing the other day and realized I have traction control...(yes I just now realized after a week that this car has traction control) I am busy with work and don't have much time to play with the car... I pushed the TCS button to turn it off and nothing happens... Any suggestions?

The reason I haven't had any time is I work for PSO, and incase you all didn't know... Hurricane Dolly knocked out power to about 205k people down in Texas. And AEP Texas is another sister company of AEP-PSO... Anywho...
2004 White GTP...Stock Stock Stock...Soon...3.0 ZZP MPS, ported blower, Pacesetter Coated Headers, FWI, Tuned PCM, VS cam, 105# springs, JP timing chain, whisper resonator and custom exhaust...My next goal(after I rebuild my savings)... 2.5" IC, 2.6 pulley, XPZ Cam, S3 heads, and a tranny....

How do you know it doesn't turn off. Maybe the light is burnt out.

I kinda have the same problem. my abs light and tcs light came on the same time but my tcs stops my tires from breaking loose but have no pulse when I stomp the breaks. And I havent gotten them to go off. All the shops I have taken it to say "open circuit" and there is nothing they can do.

If the lights are on, TCS isn't doing anything.

Then they're idiots. We really need the actual code, but that sounds like a faulty wheel speed sensor code which will disable the system. Could either be bad wires (usually the issue especially on the front wheels) or a bad sensor itself. The code will say exactly what wheel is being affected.

find one who has a certification, or license he will help, if they don't use a scan tool, they are not mechanics, they are parts jockeys

Agree with the rest, if the ABS and TCS lights are both coming on, then you have an issue, most likely, with a wheel bearing or wheel speed sensor. Get the ABS code read to tell you exactly what the problem is.

Well, i don't have the problem with it coming on. I have the problem with it not coming on. I think the button is sticky with pop... I know it doesn't work cause it does the same thing each time I try to punch it from a stop... The chirping spudder launch...

Well, I don't exactly feel like tearing apart my dash or console in 105 degree heat... I thought maybe someone might know of something or some reason for it not working...

I can feel your pain there. I replaced a CV axle yesterday after getting home and it was not fun, but it had to be done. I got another one to do this evening. I assure you if I had not made commitments to be out there doing this work, I would be inside with the A/C and on the computer or watching some TV.
