Can Anyone tell me how to remove the trim underneath the passengers side door?
I ran into some ice with the lower trim and am trying to remove it and see if it can be repaired or replaced with a new painted unit.
I have tried finding the trim piece online, but it and a rear bumper cover do not seem to be common items to find, but I would like to try and remove it first, and have a look at repairing/glueing it and putting new connectors in it to hold it again. (right now it is partly hanging down)

Thanks for any information on removing it and the rear bumper cover, and for information on where (and how) to find the parts.

If you are talking about the moulding the under doors then there will be 2 screws holding it on at each end. If you mean the actual trim at the bottom of the doors they have hooks & double sided tape holding them onto the doors.

I am referring to the plastic trim below both doors front front to rear wheelwell. I am trying to find out if it is damaged or just loose, and how to remove and reattach it. If needed, I may have to replace it, but I would rather just repair and re-install.

It has 2 screws @ each end just inside the wheel well. Take those off & tug real hard to get the molding off.

Is anything prone to breaking when taking this off? I want to take mine off, too, to check for rusted metal and to clear the fender when I spray it.

Photos of the back side of this part would be great if anyone has some.

Didn't want to start a thread for a quick question. My SE got smacked on passenger side doors. Best deal I could find was a couple of GT doors. What holds the GT trim in place? double face and plastic clips?

I've never had them off, but I'm guessing that since the side body molding has holes in the doors, then the lower trim will also have holes or some sort of mechanical fastener.

the trim moulding on the Gt/Gtps is held in place by sliding the bnottom end into a metal rail screwed into the door. There are plastic hooks in the middle of the trim & the top half is 3M'd on.

Just removed mine and broke the clip! 2 bolts either end, bottom of entire skirt is pressure fitted into grove underneath. Finally on the fender there is a clip, pull moulding towards you (out) then slide down. I found out the hard way. Should come off pretty easy after that. I had no double sided tape anywhere.

Be prepared, you might not like the looks of things behind the skirt
