Re: Overheating issue
yea they're checking the gaskets too, but he def said headers, i didnt mishear him, maybe he meant heads, or maybe he thinks the exhaust is somehow getting into the coolant system and creating an air pocket, i dont see how but thats wat he said, maybe he made a mistake in explaining it, he did seem like he was tired at the end of a long day and barely able to frame a thought lol

Re: Overheating issue
I swapped my moms them then she went to a shop they did 2 flushes still filled it with the orange crap and another new therm and hers wasnt getting up to temp tho. I jacked the car up then bled the system using the bleeder screw on top of the them. Worked perfect. I know opposite issue but could cause same probs I think. SOmeone will correct me if Im wrong

Re: Overheating issue
i heard back from my mechanic, he did mean heads. anyways originally what had happened was that someone mixed in some other coolant or liquid with the dex-cool and it combined and formed some kinda silicone solid, my mechanic showed me some gooey ****, thats what clogged everything up, but the heads were also in bad shape so theyre in the process of being repaired
