I guess he forgot no one can register over there anymore. Also I see lurkers in here from that board... what's the matter? Don't have a voice without your moderators to back you up???
At this point he could make 500 WHP and run 10 flat.
Still doesn't change anyones impression of the person behind it.
Still, there is merit behind the theory.
Just need some proof.
I am curious as to how he makes out.
But the fact of the matter is the kid creates trouble wherever he goes. He is always in the middle of a controversy. I mean, correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this the kid that swore he ran some fast time in the 1/4 with a stock setup, then come to find out it was tuned and had a smaller GM pulley on it, but he considered it stock because it was a stock GM part?
Hmmmm?Slow Sho: This is entirely different and the logic behind it must be considered. This blower tops out at airflow levels higher than the m90 and also has much better efficiency throughout the entire range. Anyone with basic mods could bolt this on and make more power. And I'm not talking about the 10-15whp from swapping gen3 to genV... this blower should easily outperform the gen3 by about 100whp with an unchanged setup.
seems a bit excessive, but i've seen weirder things happen. if this blower truely is leaps and bounds beyond a genV then it should be interesting. normally a healthy genV swap from a genIII will gain like 15-20whp when all other parts have been taken care of.
we'll see.
It should be 10-20% more efficient.
If the rotors are around the same mass, no gains from reduced parasitic loss.
So...20% of 20 WHP is 4 WHP.
If it is only 20% more efficient than a GenV...wahooo, gains...denied.
20% of 200 WHP is 40 WHP...
So not from gen III to TVS, but including all the other mods..Obviously you won't be able to just bolt a TVS to an otherwise bone stock engine and pick up 100whp... But if you have a setup like mine you will see big gains. IMO the faster you're spinning your blower, the more your setup would benefit from a TVS.
I wanna know how much gain, same mods, from Gen III to TVS.
That's what I meant, I missed two 0's.
Obviously minor details...
You mean knocking more than a full second off of your 1/4 mile time and running a blower stupid hot out of its efficiency range still wouldn't make you happy?
LOL, ungrateful bastard.

The issue I have is who is verifying his results. As I mentioned earlier, he is always in the middle of controversy and trying to create problems. He thrives on it.
So if/when he posts up that he made 143whp over his GenV setup, who is going to believe that he didn't make some other mods? Or that his tune was way off before.
Again, I hope something productive comes of all this. But I have my doubts that he will do it truthfully.
Now that everyone knows what he's like, can we stop beating a dead horse and just talk about the actual swap?
I told him to just be sure to get plenty of vids when it was done, all I care about is whether or not it can be done, gains/losses and how loud it whines. If either of those goals are met, I'll be content. He's shown progress thus far and he's feeding off reactions from others as well. The more BS posted or hate, he seems to get more done... lol
