my brother came home last night and said his car was overheating. so, we went out and looked it over.

coolant was overflowing from the reserve tank. after that we went up the drive way and down the road and back home, popped the hood. i hear pressure releving from the upper rad hose where it meets the radiator. so i have him start it up and i feel the lower rad hose, and i can squeez it together and it doesnt feel like coolant is flowing through. so after the pressure is gone (from the upper rad hose), i open the radiator cap and there was no coolant in the radaitor. (note: last week we did a radiator/coolant system flush)

so my thoughts are a bad water pump. or could it be a clogged coolant system?

    highlighted key points.

    thanks for the help

    edit:cooling system bleed.

is the radiator clogged, try pulling both hoses and put a garden hose in the top one, see if water comes out the bottom one freely.
