    Can I get a 5.3 V8 maf sensor to work in place of the one for the gtp's ?

    I don't see why not if you're outflowing your stocker. But it'd require tuning and maybe some adapter wiring.

    The MAF out of the newer 6.0L trucks will work with an adapter and tuning. These are also known as an LQ4

    I was in to my truck but 5 built trannys in a yr. i just said eff it and got the GTP . now i have the wife truck to play with a lil

    I was thinking of making a 4in custom CAI. I had the 1-2 shift set way too harsh which kills the 4l60e's. I kept snapin the input shafts

    The 4.8, 5.3, & 6.0 trucks take the same MAF. Otherwise known as an LQ4 MAF. They work, and you can get them to work with a little table modification with a MAF tune.
