I have a 2005 that the remote doesn't work unless you're next to the car. I have replaced the battery in the remote with no luck.
I was told there is a plug in antenna on the reciever in the car, but no idea where it is.
Any ideas??

could be the contacts inside the remote too. i just soldered mine recently for a similar problem

Found a bad connection at the battery tab...resoldered...no luck

Damn ya i resoldered, it worked for about a week intermittently then quit so i bought a new one.
crappy part is with our cars the dealer has to program the fob.

Had same issue, bought one of these, works flawlessly now. Probably the best $5 dollars I spent.

If you don't have the remote start, there is others without it.
