    check engine light came on today code is p0300 autozone says plugs and wires what do you guys think?

    Possible causes for a random cylinder misfire are: Bad spark plug, bad spark plug wire, bad coil pack, plugged cat. How long have the spark plugs been on the car? Spark plug age is about 80000km or 50000mi.

    Depends on a lot. Platinum plugs get chewed up quick in our waste spark ignition systems. I've seen them go bad in as little as a week and as much as a couple of months.

    P0300 is most commonly caused by plugs and wires.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    e reason

    That's common too. Means crap didn't happen during this start cycle. Don't believe that it's fixed. You still need to fix it.
