i was just woundering if 02 sensors will affect gas mileage? i have no cats on my car therefore it threw a engine code the code is for the 02 sensor is this something i should worry about or no??

Yeah, front 02 affects fueling. Rear 02 is used to provide feedback on catalytic function.
