Ok, I clicked it. If this was heard in-car while driving under a load then I would say it sounds like a rod banging around. Usually a lifter or rocker wouldn't make enough noise to hear in the cabin of a moving car w/ the windows up. The only thing that could be would be a rod, or possibly a cracked flexplate.
Any CEL on? Misfires? How's it run when under a load like that? If it's not missing or running rough then I wouldn't think it's a rocker or lifter as those usually cause a slight miss if they're that loud.
Just my .02 though....
It only does it going up mountains under load, used to do it all the time under hard acceleration, after i replaced my worn motor/tranny mount it never did it anymore while driving around town.
And no cel or misfires car runs perfect and sounds normal.
I thought it might be my sway bar rubbing on my headers?
Yea, that's poissible. How do the dogbones look? Maybe have someone manually pushing the motor back towards the firewall somehow and get your head down there to take a look. Might be flexing just enough to hit.
