Not forged, but strong motor at least
L36 and L67 bottom ends are identical except for the pistons, L36 has higher compression setup.
Take L36 bottom, strap on l67 heads and all the other stuff and your good to role...after a tune of course

I say find an L32 complete and use the gen v setup...
and i would need to get a different ic core if i decided to just use the gen v? and my xp cam would work fine in a l32 bottom? what about my 105 springs on the l32 heads?
I would get a wideband if you have more than a $1500 worth of mods in an engine or plan on running lower than 13's.
Everything will swap over fine. You can pull the springs and swap them over, you would loose the IC, but really its not that hard to sell it used
And since you toasted the bottom half of the motor you could pull the top half (heads, LIM, s/c) and sell it as a top swap.
Between the sale of the used IC and top swap, you can buy another IC for the Gen V ;)
Couple things I commonly see. Ensure there's not crud built up on top of the knock sensor in the coolant passage. Often enough if you pull a knock sensor, you won't have any coolant come out. That's because there's a layer on top of it. This may effect the sensitivity of the sensor.
Shoot 2003 SSEi a pm. He's right in your area. So far he hasn't blown an engine, only transmissions. For the record...he killed my first one.
Hi, sorry to hear you blew up the car, however the ZZP PCM sucks balls.
I can tune the car for you
it will be a little while before anything happens, i may end up dropping original stock 3800 back in it and selling it, or could sell it as it sits or without a motor and start looking for a f body, really not sure
Y u no have headers ?
