Hey guys I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section or a repeat question but I was looking into buying a Grand Prix GTP and I have found a 2001 coupe (not 2003, sorry for that) with 96,000 miles for about $5000. My question is general but simple: what, if any, can I expect for problems with this car? What has been your experience with owning one of these? I ask because I know that it is supercharged and I wasnt sure if that shortened the life or causes any problems on certain drivetrain components. I also understand that previous ownership has a lot to do with it. I really appreciate the feedback. Thank you

2003 Was 4 door only incase noone has informed you yet.

And Grand Prixs never have problems, so you have nothing to worry about.

Look at the lower intake manifold gasket. Being a northern car, look at the rocker panels. They rot out really bad at the seam if not taken care of. Most other common problems are cheap stuff.

2002 GTP: GMPP Sway Bars, BMR trailing arms, KYB AGX/Vogtlands, 12" brake upgrade
    Modified SSAC headers, K&N Intake, 3.4 MPS, S1X, Gen V, 104's, HPTuned.

Tansmissions don't usually go unless you're hard on it or it's extremely high mileage. Even then, its not the worst thing to ever happen.

That's more of a weak point when modding, than a "common issue".
